====== CaMeroon Internet eXchange Points (IXP) FEDeration | CM-IXP-Fed ======

//The [[|CM-IXP-Fed]] ((CaMeroon Internet eXchange Points (IXP) FEDeration)) is a community initiative; with aims like: **(i)** ensuring, through informal means, that domestic Internet traffic is kept within the country boundaries; **(ii)** maintaining the IXP players representatives active within the technical community around the [[https://www.cmnog.cm|cmNOG]]; **(iii)** collectively contribute to building an enabling domestic environment for Interconnections & Peering activity; and thus: **(iv)** share a common experience where **cmDOit** ((//CaMeroon DOmestic InterneT//)) is concrete & practical, day-to-day, reality for Cameroonians...//

//...also, this is the place where IXFAC ((//Internet eXchange Federated Assistance in Cameroon//)) *really* comes in live ;-)//

:!: //__**Credit**__: this document has three sources of inspiration; where the first comes up in 2023, when the cmNOG decided to manage to **__IXFAC__** and the second was two days ahead (20250705), when this online page ((//Internet eXchange Points: Africa region --// https://nsrc.org/ixp/Africa.html)) has been discovered. Thirdly, it's worth noting that there's a team ((tracking the appropriate RSS feed would allow you to get the changelog of the content published via this wiki page )), under PCH ((//Packet Clearing House//)), which asked for review of data used for the [[https://pch.net/ixp/dir|IXP Directory Project]]...//
